Sub Domain

I am setting a subdomain on my site, and install PHPBB forum. Created the SQL Database, when when installing I get the meesage: Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Access denied for user 'erichss'@'ns56.hosthat.com' (using password: YES)"
That user has all priviliages for that database. Any ideas??

Check if you entered your settings(dbname,user,pw) in config correctly.

The database name and user and password are entered during the installation process.

I was informed by hostonnet that the server host name for the database I should use my domain name which is monkey-vision.com.
database name is: monkeyv_forum
username: monkeyv_erichss
password is typed in correctly also.

I figured it out. Once I took the hostname information out and left that field blank, then it worked.....kinda odd, but oh well.
