A switch in admin for channel view

Hey there admin - at present when users browse by going through the channel button, they get 5 + 5 thumbnails in a channel. If they're new to the software and don't happen to notice the "more videos" link on the bar (its not obvious), then they'll click away because they cant find more than 10 vids.
Hows about a switch in admin that either lets us bring up more videos in this function, or one with which we can bypass this page altogether and go straight to the "more vidoes" function where there are 12 or so per thumbs per page and the navigation by page at the bottom is as it is now ( ie completely visible and just what a user would expect to see if they're not familiar with the software).
In this way a new user won't be confused. My experience suggests that if users can't work out navigation easily then they'll simply leave the site without bothering to find more stuff.

Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

I just rearrange some home page links to do auto searchs for the top catagories.
