struck in upgrade please help

i tried to upgrade to 2.7 from 2.6
i am struck here though i checked config.php for details everything fine

ERROR: Unable to execute query

ALTER DATABASE ``
CHARACTER SET `utf8`

Incorrect database name ''

please help em soon :(

ok i read one post was able to do upgrade complete , but i am not able login admin now :( my old pass not working requested a new pass not working well it sends email with link to change pass , when i click i get to admin login page enter username and new pass but still i stay at login page :( please help

I do have include/config.php set to 755 though.

actually it was set to 644 I changed it now just showing blank.

Yes, try it. It look like a web server permission. If you can't fix, PM me FTP login, i will check your installation.

yeah now no error message just keep going back to login screen.
trying to figure out still though which perm should look for? all are set as specified now though
