Wish to change today's feature video

Hi,

I have a query, I have vshare 2.7 and the facebook template installed.

I have an issue with the 'today's feature' video in the top right of homepage, this has displayed the same video since installation and I'm not sure where I goto to change it. The video currently being displayed is no longer featured, I've made more videos featured but none show up in this box. The site is not cached.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

You need to change the right side today's feature video manually by editing the index.tpl file in template folder.

Do you want to manage feature video from admin area ?


If yes, send a mail to [email protected] with FTP and vShare admin login details

I'm happy altering this file now I know where it is. Thanks for your help and the offer of setting up the option from the admin panel.

hi, I also im having this problem, i wish to get my Featured videos to change every day automatically, can this be done and if so how please?

You need to set featured videos your self.

but i did not want to use my own videos, i like that fact that if know featured video are added manually then randoms videos are automatically applied, and it is those clips which i would like to regenerate automatically per-day. is this this possible?

That is not possible. You need to modify the script to implement this.

In my Admin, I am unable to enable have featured videos function correctly. When I go to a video and enable it to be featured it uploads find. I look in the Featured Videos area and it is displayed. Then I go to my home page to view the Featured video and the entire Featured Video section is removed.

As a user, I can enable my video to be featured and nothing happens. Then it appears in the "Freature Requests" in Admin. Once approved it appears on the "Featured Vidoes" and then the "index-featured-video" is removed from the index "home" page.

Make 2 or more video featured, then it will display properly.
