number of MySQL connections vshare uses?

Hi

I'm finding a new host for my script and was wondering what is the number of MySQL connections vshare uses on average.

dreamhost say they have a 256 limit and i know my site will become popular once its all done so want to know if my site will be suspended by them.

Connection depends on number of visitors. 256 connections should allow 256 requests at a time, this won't happen for most sites, unless your site is under some kind of attack.
