    Default Progress bar - Failed to find flength file

    Hi,

    Recently I upgrade to a dedicated server and since that the progress bar doesn't work. I have changed the path in cgi-bin/ubr_upload.pl, the new server uses Plesk and I have cahnged the path as /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/templates_c/. The permisions are set as 755. But when I upload a file, the page return "Failed to find flength file" message.

    Do you know where is the problem?

    Thanks

    Is the server that you moved to running Plesk? If so, check to make sure that your files under the "cgi-bin" are in the real cgi-bin folder, which would be /var/www/vhosts/domain/cgi-bin (not /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/cgi-bin). Once you move the files to the real cgi-bin folder, it will work as expected.

    Yes, I have moved to a Plesk server. The path in ubr_upload.pl was already updated but I think I must update the ubr/ubr_ini.php, there is this line:

    $PATH_TO_UPLOAD_SCRIPT = VSHARE_URL . '/cgi-bin/ubr_upload.pl';

    But I don't know what url I must write here to point to the real cgi-bin folder.

    Thanks

    That file should be left as it is. It is not that your file is pointing wrong, because it is pointing right. The problem is that on Plesk, the CGI-BIN folder is not inside of the httpdocs folder like it is on Cpanel (in cpanel, the path would be /home/user/public_html/cgi-bin). The file structure of vShare is setup for Cpanel servers in that the cgi-bin folder is inside of the root home directory. On Plesk, the cgi-bin folder is not inside of the root folder, aka, the cgi-bin folder is not under the httpdocs folder. If you create a "cgi-bin" folder inside of the httpdocs folder, anything inside of would be ignored because the real cgi-bin folder is located outside of the httpdocs folder (see my example above). You need to move the contents of the cgi-bin folder that is in your httpdocs folder to your real cgi-bin folder. If you cannot figure this out, you can contact the vShare people's helpdesk. They usually provide free support in being able to move those files for you.

    There is only one file into cgi-bin folder, ubr_upload.pl. I have moved that file to real cgi-bin folder (out of httpdocs folder), but I have the same error. Mybe my hosting provider must install something...

    Thanks

    The site includes adult content, I can't post the URL here. I will contact with vshare support. Thanks very much for help.
