Server Overloaded by convertions

Hello,

I run a site that people are uploading videos at the same time.

I am having issues with the convertions of the videos each make my server really overloaded in terms of CPU usage.

Is there a way to fix this? I am using batch processing, but sometimes i see 3 or 4 videos being coverted at the same time.

The best would be a configuration which only 1 video is converted at a time.

There isn't a way to do that without modding the cron job to first check to see if there are active processes going. It's possible to do, but it would require a code change.

The file is cron.php. It is at the root of your site.
