More importantly though, is it possible to obtain a list of file names in order to finally make translations that couldn't be made with vshare version 2.6 since some of those files were encrypted?

Only you, the developers, would know exactly which files contain some of that information .... unless the new language file in vshare 2.7 now includes EVERYTHING, date and currency information too.
