Oh yeah, it's your favorite Son ... :)
When we installed vshare on our server, which by the way has unlimited bandwidth, we appeared to not have any or at least a lot of major problems initially. On Sunday (yesterday) we placed the video portal online for all to see and use ... but today, during my login, was confronted with the message that my free account period was over due to the fact that I'd used up all of the bandwidth that the trial package has allocated to it.
Well, that's physically impossible !!!
The trial accounts run for 180 days with viewer settings that are in seconds equal to 180 days times 24 hours.
I've used the account less than 2 weeks.
Trial users may upload 100 videos per month ... I've uploaded about 40 of them.
Trial users may have up to 5000 MB bandwidth per month ... which I couldn't possibly have used up, just goofing around 20 to 30 times with the same 4 or 5 videoclips for testing purposes.
Trial users are allocated 500 MB of server space which I couldn't even be close to since I've imported 34 videos from the vidoswiper video feed that's supposed to run the clips directly from the distant server. But even if it didn't do that, I still wouldn't have the amount of space full since most of the clips are only 1:30 to 3:00 minutes in length.
However, just to test the amount of server space used, I went ahead and changed my account to a "diamond user" account who receives ungodly amounts of everything. Well, guess what? I logged myself out ... cleared my browser cache just to be safe ... waited a couple of minutes ... and logged myself back in ... only to find ... Same message as before!
Your package subscription expired because you're only allocated 75 GB (yeah, that's GIGAbyte) per month, which you've already used up.
There is something very fishy going on with the numbers here ...
Any ideas what's causing this strangeness?
.
Thanks
