That is needed for setting char set to utf-8, try removing the line from vshare.php, it may work.

Hello,
Upgrade was done smoothly, well done.
But i have a real problem with special caracters conversion during the database upgrade between 2.6 and 2.7.
All the UTF-8 special caracters were bad translated and now all the 'videos' database is full of strange caracters.
I kept a save for my old 2.6 database.
Do you have any ideas what i can do to keep the special caracters clean between 2.6 and 2.7 update ? Maybe i can just import all the fields concerning video title and video description from 2.6 database to 2.7 one ... ?
Thanks,
I have solved the bulk import problem by turning off the cache as you suggested earlier to someone, I need to know how to adjust the size of the right hand table where 5 last users are placed so that the users info fits on one line, and the table heght of the recently viewed so as the time fit in. Thanks in advance.
Okay,
I found another problem with tags ...
All my recent tags are duplicated, i don't know why ... but it seems that is the same for most of the 2.7 users.
Can you confirm ?
What can i do to group the same tags instead of seeing it multiple times in a row ?
Thanks.
Where can i see the repeated tags ?Originally Posted by cyse
Recent Tags in http://video.bizhat.com/ looks normal.
You already using UTF-8 ? PM me, i can check this.Originally Posted by cyse
ok i sent you a PM. Please check it.
Here is an url where the tags problem is encountered too :

I found this url just up in this thread.
Thanks.
Hmmm, I wonder if that might be a cache issue?Originally Posted by cyse
I had cache enabled, and at first my tags were also repeating. After I'd disabled the cache I didn't check the tags again for some time, so I'm not sure if that's what fixed it, but they're displaying normally now.
Oh ok better ...
but you didn't repair the old duplicate one
check "ANGOLA" tag :

ANGOLA word 4 times in a row :)
I will try to deactivate cache too ...
