Not Deleting Files

I have just noticed that when you upload a video and its processed and converted the original video does not get deleted. Is this supposed to be done automatically or do I have to access FTP to delete the files?

That is the normal behavior. You will have to FTP to that directory and periodically delete those files if you do not want them. One thing to note, however, is that if you do delete those files, functions that require those files to be present (such as re-encoding the video, re-generating new thumbnails, etc,) will not work.
