Old version of Vshare

In my vsare admin, it says I am using the old version of vshare (2.6) but when I click the upgrade link it says 2.7 wont be released till march

Any ideas why it is saying this?

I think admin has changed that, that the users who use vhsare know that a new version will be released soon.
