lighttpd and hotlinking

I've searched for keywords lighttpd, se if I could finda fix for the hotnliking issue. I have 3 tube siues hotlinking my flvs using lighttpd, is tehr a quick solution to this instead waiting fr the next release? I am already paying over 100 ueros of extra bandwith because of that, and its bit unfair that because of ZEND, we arent able to fix it ourselves.

Install lighttpd mod_secdownload flv server to prevent hotlinking :wink:

My enhanced video security will not prevent hotlinking if someone is already hotlinking your files. All it does is aid in preventing people from browsing your source code to find the actual links to your video. The links can still be obtained by other means. My normal lighttpd installation provides security by creating time-limited links. If someone links to the video, it expires after so many minutes. Note that if you allow embedding, people will still be able to link to your files (using your player).
