Default Questions about file upload size limit

Ok so I looked through some threads on here and apparently despite the message that says the file limit is 100mb, users can actually upload larger filesizes as long as the webhost allows it ?

Is this true ? because if it is I checked and my upload size limit is 1GB.

And finally... if it IS true ! Is there anyway to edit the text that says 100mb ? I have searched through all the php\html\.js files and I cannot find the message anywhere :S

Thanks in advance for any help !

Yes, you can upload up to your hosts' maximum file size limit. You can edit the text to match whatever that limit is by editing the upload_file.tpl file within the "templates" directory.

    Sure, edit this file:

    templates/upload_file.tpl

    ;)
